After a surreal week of traveling to speak at the Florida PPA State Convention (more on that very soon!) and heading back for a day before flying out to Ohio to cover the MCain Campaign's VP pick, I'm just now back at home and in catch up mode. I just turned around the fourth and final proof of the book I've been working on for the last year (plus) - each time was a different review: text review, layout review, photography review, etc. This last review was the print review, and all looks just so wonderful. I just saw this cool new design, showcasing the addition of Jerry Ghionis to the Image X lineup in New Orleans - I am pretty sure that the wavy bumps in our faces is due to the addition of a layer of design paper, not a virtual skin issue of any sort :) When I see fun new layouts like this, I wish I could just talk to the world clock people about adding on a few more hours to each day to just sit, play and design. But, as I understand it, they're not taking any calls...

My good friend Lena Hyde always has the best design papers and tools over at Design Aglow! Since one of my favorite things to do is sit down with my photography and start designing something new from scratch, it's fantastic to have a brand new set of tools to do so with - I love the design kit I received recently...
