THE Election

Like many people in America (heck, i can say with some current authority – like many people around the world!), I have been anxiously awaiting this day.

Election Day!! I am so excited for the results of today’s voting!

I was thrilled to be able to cast my early vote before leaving the country and am spending a great deal of today glued to CNN, albeit while multi-tasking as best I can. Thank goodness for international coverage šŸ™‚ šŸ™‚

I hope everyone makes it a huge priority to go out and vote today, if they haven’t already.

I’ve been told time and again that it’s just rude for me to talk about who I voted for – (I even wrote an entire article about it).

So I will just post a couple of my favorite portraits that I’ve taken in the last few months.

One is a Portrait of a Candidate.

The other? A Portrait of Two Brilliant Women…

The Candidate’s Wife and a great supporter, a Poet Laureate, Dr. Maya Angelou.

So just a couple of portraits….and I’ll leave it at that.

(Except, a reminder…more like a plea: Please Vote.)

  1. Thank you for sharing these portraits! And perhaps it is because I agree with your choice or perhaps it is because I am frustrated enough with the status quo, but I actually think it is time for more people to talk about who they are voting for and why. These discussions, I hope, will make a better informed populous and a stronger America. Happy Voting!

How surreal to be here…a hemisphere from home…and feel so much energy and excitement across the world for what is currently transpiring. Perhaps a foreshadowing of what our collective world will become šŸ™‚

Charlie and I have been glued (for weeks) to Rachael Maddow and Keith Oberon, and we just knew (actually, hoped in our hearts) that it would be a landslide! HOORAY — IT WAS!! Going forward, our great Country will now be able to get back on track!! Love to all the Lackeys — especially our newest little Niece, Miss Ana Elisa. We can’t wait to meet her! Best, Mimi and Chas
