New Photographs Up on The Galleries

Hi – Tamara here.  I happily just got a chance to catch up on refreshing my galleries with some of my most recent photography work of the last few months.  I am loving seeing all the new photographs up there – it can be rather challenging to keep up with showing your most current work, regardless of what you do.  In fact, my daughter just reminded me to update our art wall at home with the newer projects they’ve done.  So … that’s next.

I hope you have an opportunity to check them out!

I say it so often that I feel like it just comes out as trite now – but, blessedly, the truth is still there:  I love photography.

What I took away from the course is to jump in and just do it.  Now I have my very first paid photo shoot tomorrow!!!  Thank you for kicking my butt.  All I need now is some cool music for my slideshow… 😉

Joe sent me this and so I’m posting for him.How does God free us from being a conmuser? What does that look like? I’d like to see that in my own life and to be able to express it to others, but it is so hard to imagine in our culture. We are conmusers. Our God is money (especially our retirement savings) and consumption–these are built into the fabric of our society. I believe that the gospel can free us from this idolatry, but I don’t know what this freedom would even look like.
